Student Video for 50/50 by 2030 Foundation Soft Launch
For this specific video I was asked to film a collection of vox-pops to get a feel for what the general public thought about gender equality. What I created is the culmination of several hours on campus with a camera, as well as my knowledge as to how best to get students involved with the project and knowing the best ways to ask questions to elicit insightful answers.
Newsbriefs for 50/50 by 2030 Foundation
One of my key areas of work in my internship was developing the newsbrief, a newsletter full of the weeks gender equality news. I was given free reign over the project as long as the stories were news worthy to our readers. For this project I designed the template and found ways for me to process extensive amounts of news into 15 interesting stories.
Cat Desexing News Story
As part of one of my journalism units at university we were asked to create a video story that could work attached to a news article or fit in to a nightly news program. Through this project my interviewing, editing and videography skills are demonstrated.
