Who Am I?
I am a diligent hard working individual who is always willing to give things a go. I am always committed to doing my best and a go above and beyond to get my work done to an excellent standard. With years of experience and knowledge of social media, it an aspect of online content that I not only incredibly familiar with, but an aspect I am constantly fascinated by. With my experience creating personal content for my sites as well as creating content for professional websites and social media, it is one of my strongest skills. Despite being an under graduate I am comfortable in professional work spaces and enjoy working with others in a professional manner.
Intern for 50/50 by 2030 Foundation
2017 - present
In my role as intern for the 50/50 by 2030 Foundation I create a weekly newsletter for our mailing list consisting on the 15 best news stories of the week. This involves the use of online tools such as google alerts. The newsletter involves using editorial judgement to find stories that are new and are interesting to our readers and stakeholders. I also have help produce videos for the foundations website.

To support myself during university I have been working in a coffee shop. In this job my customer service skills are second to none, which is important considering our store brands itself to be filled with friendly welcoming staff. Working as part of a franchise gives me an understanding of the behavioural and professional expectations that come with representing a well known organisation. In this job I am also working with tight deadlines in regards to the food I cook and how quickly I serve customers.

I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Canberra. I major in Journalism, Sociology and Social Policy and English Language and Literature. Throughout my studies I have received excellent marks allowing me to have a GPA of 5.5. Within each of these majors I have done both practical and theoretical work, allowing me to have a comprehensive understanding of the units within.
